NVRE Pty Ltd’s large area collectors for district heating and industrial applications offer you the best possible investment by being the world’s most efficient flat plate collectors. Our collectors are 10-20% more efficient than most collectors in the market. This efficiency will
either supply more energy from an equal number of installed collectors or allow the required amount of energy to be harvested by using fewer collectors and requiring less land or roof space.
NVRE Pty Ltd’s most efficient collectors are equipped with double glazing, which significantly increases the insulation of the glass side of the panels, where most heat is lost. This solution guarantees the stability of the performance during the entire life time of the collector.
Our unique coating technology allows us to use other absorber designs than previously used in the market.
In standard absorbers the heat travels a long way until reaching the heat transfer fluid and the heat conduction occurs along a narrow welding seam which presents a significantthermalresistance.Thiscreatesanunequalheatdistribution across the absorber which resulting higher heat losses to the surroundings.
With MPE profiles, the average distance for the energy to travel is much shorter and the heat distribution much more even. This leads to a fin efficiency of over 99% and practically no heat losses in the absorber.
Combined with an anti-reflex treated glass, with low iron and very high transmittance of solar energy, our collectors make sure that the highest possible amount of heat from the sun’s rays finds its way into the heat transfer fluid for further transmission to the heat storage and ultimately as a surplus in your wallet.
Apart from the use of the most efficient absorber in the market, NVRE Pty Ltd now introduces the most innovative connection technology to date. With integrated hose connections in the panels, the insulation around the hoses is significantly improved and the total efficiency of the solar installation increases compared to conventional solutions with external hoses. In comparison, NVRE’s solution now uses 95% less external hose length.
The introduction of the integrated hose connection also provides a new approach with respect to the mounting distance between the collectors in a row. This may now be reduced to 40 mm, which in combination with the absorber efficiency further increases the energy density of the solar field.
Additionally, shadowing from the traditional hose connections is avoided, while at the same time the hoses are effectively protected from external wear due to weathering, bird attacks, etc.
NVRE Pty Ltd ’s MEMO coating process is a self-developed and patented PVD-PECVD coating which takes place in a vacuum chamber and covers the absorbers with three ceramic nano-layers of superior thermo-mechanical and optical properties: the coating has an absorbance of 96% and an emission of 5%. This coating process makes us the only solar company in the world able to build and coat large area direct flow absorbers with a highly selective coating in one single piece.
